Even though some still had doubts, Jesus sent the disciples to share the good
news, and they did. They went with the promise that Jesus would be with them always. We still share that same promise and that same mission.

TALK: Consider some of these ideas
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
- How can you work to welcome them into God’s kingdom?
- If God changed your name as a sign that you have been set apart to serve God, what name would you want God to choose? Why?
- For the littles: What is the longest trip you’ve ever taken? What did you do there? Jesus invites us to share our stories with people all over the world.
PRAY: O Lord, at times we still question your presence, even when you’re right in front of us. Fill us with faith in your promises, simply because you are trustworthy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
BLESS: May God send you out and walk with
you. Amen.
