TALK: Consider some of these ideas
“Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly sanctuary.” (Hebrews 9:1)
Jesus‘ saving work took him to death and back; to earth and heaven. Jesus’ death and resurrection altered the fabric of creation forever.
- What laws can you think of that have been changed in the last one hundred years? How has it changed your life, and our society?
- How did Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection lead us to a new understanding about our relationship to God?
- How does Jesus change the nature of our relationship to laws, regulations, and so forth?
PRAY: Saving Lord, you have been to hell and back on our behalf. Remind us of your unsurpassed love and faithfulness which models the servant life for us, and bids us to follow where you lead. Amen.
BLESS: May the God who broke down the walls between us strengthen you today. Amen.
