PARENTS NIGHT OUT at ELC: March 20, 2026 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Our high school youth will be offering a night of games, crafts, and treats for youth ages 3 years through 5th grade at ELC of Mt Horeb. Fundraiser for 2026 Mission Trip.

Donation: $10 per child and $5 for additional children (family rate).

Easter Breakfast

EASTER BREAKFAST – April 5th, 7 am – 9 am
Come and enjoy our Easter Breakfast in Fellowship Hall, featuring homemade cinnamon rolls, egg bakes, fruit, juice/coffee. Free will donations will support our youth mission trip to Kansas City, MO in July.

Sunday School

Youth, who are 3 years old through 8th grade, are invited to participate each week. Join us to hear Bible stories, music, play games, enjoy snacks and participate in monthly service opportunities. We will begin weekly in the chapel.

Our Sunday School Structure

Sunday School is offered during the school year, usually from the first Sunday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Memorial Day, for youth 3 years old through 8th grade on Sundays from 10:15am– 11:00am. High school youth are encouraged to volunteer with music, Sunday School, or if interested in a high school discussion time, please contact Brenda Martin, Youth Ministries Director, brenda.martin@elcmthoreb.org.

Interested in Helping with Sunday School?

For Sunday School each week, we have teachers and helpers who guide our children through a Bible story, craft and games. No planning time needed. All supplies are ready each week for each class. Lesson plans are emailed, usually on Friday before. Time commitment is the time on Sunday AM. Other opportunities to help would be with our service opportunities, Christmas program, preparing materials, and/or providing snacks. If interested, please email brenda.martin@elcmthoreb.org.

Payment for Youth Events

Beginning February 11, 2026 – We have a new Venmo account for taking payments for our youth fundraisers. Please note the additional fee for this service.

There are two ways to pay for youth events.

One is on our elcmthoreb.org website, and highlighting the youth fund.

Pay by VENMO. ELC of Mt Horeb has a Business Venmo account. For the convenience of using Venmo, please add the following amounts to help cover the fees.

$10 + Venmo fee = $10.29
$15 + Venmo fee = $15.39
$20 + Venmo fee = $20.48
$25 + Venmo fee = $25.58
